Changes always take time. Kalliope had never been the most subtle person, despite her preferred silence. As Malus had noted on multiple occasions, she was painfully blunt. Kalliope liked things straight to the point, as she had to deal with enough roundabouts with complicated spells already, and growing up with a master gossiper like Venus didn’t help.  But politics demands subtlety.
