Suffocating

594 Words
Ava's pov. As I woke that morning I just knew it was about to be the same day I had lived this same routine for nearly 6 months I had felt like I was suffocating. I was twenty years old I was meant to be free and live like a normal twenty year old but nope not me, I had the responsibility of looking after my two kid brothers. I know I sound selfish but I hated this part of my life. "Ava Ava Ava" I heard my mother shout from the kitchen, as I lifted my head from my pillow I knew what she was shouting me for, I didn't want this kind of responsibility I wanted to stay in bed where i felt like I was normal. But no I didn't have that luxury I went straight downstairs. "Ye mum" I called from the stairs "I'm coming" all I heard was my mum open the door as she shouted "I have to go to the hospital to look after granny please drop the boys off thanks hun." As I got to the kitchen mum had already been driving off the driveway "great" I moaned "Right boys we only have 45 minutes to get you to school, eat and I will be back down in 15 okay?" "Okay Ava" both Carl and Carlos beamed at me. My little brothers were aborable when they wanted to be, as I ran upstairs to get ready I chucked on a pair of leggings and a T-shirt went into the bathroom and sorted my hair and brushed my teeth. "That will have to do" I sighed. Going back downstairs I could hear the boys toy fighting. "Right boys we have 10 minutes to get you both to school let's go" I said "Aww Ava can't we just stay with you today we love being with you" Carl moaned. "Not a chance boys I have a million and ten things to do today sorry boys" I said as we was leaving the house. As I drove the boys to school my phone rang I picked it up coming through the Bluetooth was my dad. I was never a daddy's girl like every thought I was. Picking up I calming said "hi dad everything okay mum said your away on business again?" The line was silent for a few seconds then I heard my dads voice he didn't sound happy at all "hey Ava we need to talk i will be home tomorrow morning, I will also like your mother to be home to" "okay dad are you okay you don't sound good?" I said in a low voice but the line was already dead. "Ava is daddy okay he didn't would okay" this time it was Carlos talking "yes buddy I think he is just stressed, we will see him tomorrow" after dropping the boys off at school I returned home to do the housework. As I reached for the door I saw I big black car slowed near the end of our drive way as I turned around and looked who it was i could only see the driver in a black suit but I couldn't see anyone in the back, the tint was to dark. The driver looked at me for a minute before I started to walk over to the car that was now stopped at the end of the drive, the car started to move off slowly at first then faster, before I could reach the end of the driveway the car was gone.
