“The room I let you slept the first time can be your room again, I think you already knew where exactly it was.” The dinner was done and they both could not find another topic to open about and continue the conversation. He was happy she’d accepted the invitation tonight. It had been a great dinner he experienced with a woman in his house since it was done. He had never brought any woman since his first ever mansion was built. This is his first house he had worked for many years now. It has a great value in him but it even more great now that he had got new memories inside it. “You are not going to sleep yet?” Sofia asked brow was frowned. He shook his head. “I want to have coffee on my terrace.” “Coffee on this evening? You cannot sleep then after, but you have work tomorrow—Oh, sorry for being talkative.” She smiled bitterly and placed her palm on her lips, preventing it to spill out something that surely will going to piss him out. She does not even know where she coming from but she feels so closed to him, and she wanted to know more about it. “I have no plan to sleep yet, but I’ll be work at eight.” He smiled and turned his back and walked away. It made her amaze. Everything what he doing has always turned her in amusement about it. What more he could do to amuse her? “Wait, Demire!” She run towards him and blocked his front. She gulped to clear her throat. “I feel like not ready to sleep yet, why not to have coffee with you tonight?” “No, you have work—” “I’ll be on the company tomorrow before eight.” She raised her right hand. “I promise.” She smiled at him. He paused thinking what to replied her. “I’m not sure you can do it.” He sighed “Sleep now, Sofia.” What he just said made her face grimace and eyes were telling something to him. A sudden dismay drew on her beautiful eyes. He took a sigh again, when he got no response from her. “Alright, let’s go.” She smiled at him and her upset look disappeared. “Thank you!” He wagged his head and walked first, leading the way to the huge terrace of his house. Sofia’s eyes widened when they reached the terrace. “Wow!” this what all she can say staring of how beautiful the garden terrace was. I will probably the first garden terrace she had been to. There were alluring container of grown flowers, with the combination of both perennials and annuals equally. The town view created a serene and calm garden on the terrace and the combinations of white and blue paint was perfect! She did not know he has small garden on his terrace. The bright light from the half moon, dark skies, and stunning lights from the city appreciated the beauty of the terrace garden tonight. “This is marvelous! I love it! The city was even more stunning at night. Your house was in a high place to caught this kind of beauty in this city. Really beautiful!” She did not notice on the ride way to his home is elevated. Demire left her on the terrace to get their coffee. When he went back, he saw her sitting on the soft couch and staring at the beautiful dark sky. “The sky tonight was calm and has few stars than last night.” He handed her a cup of coffee. “Thank you!” She accepted it and sipped a bit. “This taste good.” “I used coffee maker.” He would never deny about it. He sat on the couch beside her. Sofia lifted her feet and hugged her legs when the cold wind blew. She drinks her coffee and leaned her back on the couch. It was a satisfying feeling of her. To see the night beauty is everything. “You slept on the couch because you’re tired.” She is the worst hard-headed person he ever met. She fell asleep when he took a shower and now, she wanted to spend her night drinking coffee with him. “Yes, today was tiring, I never worked that hard in my whole life. My body did not cooperate with me well, that’s why.” She remained staring at the night sky. Demire cannot help himself not to look at her. He searched about her, the day he accepted her as his secretary. He already knew she came from a wealthy family before and their company’s wealth and title were vanished in all of the sudden. They faced bankruptcy and she lost her family because of a road accident. She lost everything in just an instant and now she’s working for him as his secretary. Sofia has been a tough woman after all. What she just experienced is completely a hard thing to go through but then she did. She can go further that where she was right now, and Demire can see it from her eyes. “You did it, and probably you need rest now.” “No, I want to spend more time with you.” He stopped sipping his coffee and faced her. A sudden thug in his chest. “What do you mean?” She did not give her a look but instead she smiled and held her cup with both her palms. “You are one of the best persons I have now, Demire. I don’t know why but I feel safe and comfortable with you.”
