There were so many activities to do inside the farm. Since they are already on the farm, they decided to get involve in farm life. Sofia wanted to try how farmers lives. She told it to Demire and the only answer she got from him was ‘yes’. This was the first time that Demire agreed to someone’s offer that is out of the business matter, and to an offer that won’t benefit him financially. He only cares about money before but he was different today.

Sofia searched something on her cell phone. “Would you like to collect chicken eggs with me?” she asked Demire after reading some articles online what would are the good activities they can do today.

“Collect eggs?” Demire had a thought. He seldom eating chicken eggs every morning when he was living with Angelique, but he knew the process of chicken poultry. Despite of delicious eggs that chicken produces, the chocking smells of their poultry is what made his lips twitched. “Do you really want to do it? The poultry scent is worst than you thought. Once you’re in there, you will back out for sure.” H sighed. He thinks, that’s not a good activity to do.

“Alright, you scared me. Wait, I’ll find new activity.” She looked back to her phone and read more article. “I thought that would be fun, but you are right. I might not get fun if the smell was sucks.”

Demire chuckled and looked at the sky. They stayed on the veranda of the food house where they ate. Out of nowhere, he remembered what happened last night. He cannot believe that happened. Seems like a nightmare. Is just that world remained good to him, because it helped him, scaped the reality for not letting Sofia remember what just exactly happened. That night was so scary. That was the first time that he felt that kind of fear, that torn his flesh inside his body.

No, don’t! Demire was screaming on his mind when his body moving opposite of what he thinking. He was thirsty. He needs blood, her genuine blood. This is what he only wanted to taste now.

“D-Demire!” Sofia screamed when his hand held her’s but that’s too hot that causing her skin burn. “Get off me! Please!! Please!” She tried so hard to withdraw her hand but he was powerful. He moved rapidly and the next thing happened, his fangs were embedded on her neck. Her eyes widened, feeling the tough pain on her neck. Her blood shed, and he immediately sipped it.

No!! She might die!! Demire was roaring on his head. It was too late for him to save her. He’s sipping her blood like a hungry lion. Her tears shed and fell down the floor. She lost he conscious. Her awful condition woke him up from his stupidity. “Sofia! Dammit!!” He hurriedly took her up, broke the door and brought her inside his room again. “I’m so stupid!!”

He looked at the sky. Today’s sky is a blue-grey bridle with the softest accent of white. He loved what he seeing today. This is beautiful just like the fine day. Today’s vibe was really different just like how he used to be. He coated himself with a dark ambiance before. Vampire was scared of lights but the human half of him is not. It felt like he was just born today. Every happening was new to him, though he’d been living for a hundred years. “What if we rest today?”

Sofia frowned staring at him. “Rest? You want to rest today?”

He faced her with a very light emotion and nodded. “I like the day today, absolutely fine.” He set his arm on the table and to his jaw. “Birds’ chirping, fresh air, warm sun light and everything inside the farm was making me feel better today. I just want to chill on my bed, have a sleep. I wanted to relax.”

“I also liked the day today, Demire, but don’t you find it bored?”

“Nope.” He smiled at her. “Tomorrow we will go back to work, and I don’t want to get tired today. Let’s save our energy for tomorrow. We left many works since yesterday and we have to work for it tomorrow.”

That explained her a lot. She smiled back at him and nodded. “Yeah, you’re right.” Her eyes traveled along the beautiful landscape of the farm. Just like what he told her. Today is a fine day. Beside of the fine day, she also felt something unusual today inside her body. Seemed like her blood was alive and her body was full of energy. She felt like more active today. Maybe it is because of what just happened last night. This is the effect of being bitten of a half vampire like Demire. “Then, you want to go to your room now?”

He stood up and held out his hand for her. “Let’s go back to my room and watch movie?”

Sofia smiled widely and accepted his hand. He yanked her up. He’s holding her hand firmly. They both wanted to stay like this until they can. They tackled the road going back to the hotel where they are staying. While walking, Sofia’s eyes glued to their hands, firmly holding each other. She remembered what Gab told her today. Should I ask him why are we doing this? No, I’m not yet ready for the answer. All what she wanted to do now, is to know more about him, to know him more and stay beside him.
