Chapter 4.

Oluebi's POV. It was all about Loria, it was no longer about Oluebi, and Sodear, no space for them to express themselves, he din't watch his words any longer while speaking, and talking to her, and her daughter, nothing she could hold onto, as the things going on that hurt, were desirable, spectators were all around, and it hurt the most. Winter was intense, one good night Oluebi woke up searched for Eric, couldn't find him in the room, she went downstairs outside but found him sitting positing wasn't very close to Loria, but was close to her, and Robex resting on his chest. It was a natural appearance, someone had painted a picture of her family without the second, and third in command in it, and she didn't take a single step forward. ‎Eric got ready for the rebuke, and warning, he prepared his heart, not to give heed, Oluebi now discovered her rival, and this one was one long before she was accepted into her home. " She had a bad dream" she said quietly, Oluebi stared at the sleeping child, at Eric for a long time like decades, and at the Ma'am who knew she was behaving outrageously. She thought of what it would be like being a stranger in her home, for kindness sake, here not abandoned, it would be understood, cooking family meals, doing house chores, washing Eric's clothes. Caring, pampering, and disciplining their baby girl, all alone, like a ghost given a limited space in her own life. The height of it was the display at the Moon feast. The entire pack was seated in the great event hall, lit up, and its surroundings, while the cold snow fell in the surroundings. The belief was that near the fire sits were for the Alpha families but while she was in the kitchen cooking. Loria took her position and sat close to Eric, and nobody, called her to order, every body where having happiness, joy, and gladness, interacting, and communicating while she forced herself to smile, while she was carrying the bread to distribute. Then ‎Eric altered words without mincing it, you can have your seat down there, you can have one over there. As if he was helping somebody he didn't know, he just met there to secure a seat, she no longer belonged to his heart, no space for him in his heart any longer. She started at her mate, the man who did everything possible to win her love, crossing territories, 1,2,3,4 for her to marry him, who once swore before his creator that nothing would come between them, no matter how little. The truth was that he expected her to understand that the widow needed excess love shown to her by Oluebi's mate, he didn't think of the boundaries he shouldn't cross, so it wasn't intentional to hurt Oluebi, and wouldn't heal her any time soon. She set the bread on the table, and left no one followed, not even Eric, was she expecting anyone to follow her? I should have learnt to set my boundaries high, so that anyone who crossed would hit their face, and learn a lesson, even Eric would hit his face, and learn a lesson. Snow made sure the training grounds outside were not seen, and chilled air froze Oluebi's lungs as she stood alone under the moonlight. Thoughts ran through her mind about what she had gotten herself into. "Mama?" Sodear stood covered in a duvet, she squared, and knelt immediately spread her arms, I'm a widow Loria is a wife, her mate is still alive. Sodear Climed into her arms, and asked with a still small voice, "They have neglected you again"? Children chose the truth but for adults anything goes, it could be the truth or anything else. Oluebi held her daughter closely, and tighter. Applaud rose, sounds of joy, happiness, gladness, victory, and triumph were heard inside the hall, around the flames, it was warm, and bright. "A home moving on without the wife, and daughter, where is one person moving on in the home moving to, or do I, have a counterpart in my home"? She began to retrace her steps back to how she would conquer, and own her home again?, "What will a wolf do, when it realizes, it is a stranger in its own home, who makes a wolf a stranger in its own den, knowing it is fierce"?. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
