ARIANNE’S POV
“ALPHONSE.”
I almost shouted his name, but in time and perfectly holding myself back, and only whispered it to myself. Still, I am taken aback, surprised in a second as a hand grabs me from the back and pins me to the wall. Greetings in sight and a few inches from me of Alphonse's face. His proud smile and entitled presence that I’ve known about him since and deeply from my past life.
“Caught you once again.” He smiles, teasing for a thing or two which I find irritating and infuriating.
But I calm myself, smile back at him in an irritated way, and push him away from me.
“More like grabbing me recklessly like any notorious kidnapper ever known.” I superficially insulted him, like a joke or two, but in truth is what I see and feel for him.
