Outside the room, Melissa asked with a sweet smile, "Alex, is Phoebe awake?"
"She is."
"I want to ask her to go shopping with me!"
Alexander remained silent. Phoebe was now filled with hostility toward Melissa; there was no way she would agree to go shopping with her. "Melissa, why don't you ask Rod to accompany you?"
