Alice sobbed, her face buried in her hands. She couldn't believe anything that was happening. She had been thrown in prison, accused of poisoning Peter. She didn't want to waste her energy on beating the iron doors. She knew they'd never let her out. She didn't want to waste her tears, either, but it all just kept coming. Susan, Edmund and Lucy had no power to release Alice from prison. Elizabeth and Diane seemed to be in charge now, and have claimed that Alice had committed treason against Peter. She was ordered to be hung in the morning. It was now 10pm in the night, and Alice could no longer control her tears. "I didn't do it...
