Tragedy
CASH'S POV.
deshawn looked at me and chuckled before leaving out the door. I crawled over to moms and lifted her head to see she was crying.
" ma what happened?" I asked fighting back tears. moms looked up at me and started coughing and sobbing. she was whispering I'm sorry under her breath and shaking nonstop.
" I'm sorry cash........I was just being selfish and money hungry....... and I just messed everything up and I dragged you and Tracy into it ..........I'm so sorry!" she said between sobs.
" ma just tell me what happened?" I said while tears streamed down my face.
she cleared her throat and begin telling me.
" it started a few weeks after you left. deshawn started drinking and he called off the marriage but me being me I begged him to stay because he was all I had him and his b***h of a daughter. the only reason I dealt with him is because I thought he'd make it better take away all the pain your father caused when up and left. me being insecure and desperate ruined both our lives. the reason why I moved you up here is because of deshawn. he started beating on me and taking all my money, he took all the money your father gave us out the bank and all I could was sit back and watch. I tried to stop him but he said if I say anything he would kill you. after a couple of weeks he dragged me back up here and dropped me off this man's house. he rapped and abused me. I went days without eating that's why I called you. I'm wearing the same clothes I been wearing since I got off the plan a couple weeks ago. a couple days ago deshawn came and got me and brought me here and just beat me for no reason at all. I swear cash it killed me to see you get on that plane. I couldn't bare having you and your father both out my life but I had to for your sake. I love you cash and forgive me for all the dumb s**t I did." she said sobbing. I just sat there and held her , thinking about how I was going to kill deshawn.
Tracy's POV .
" where have you been Tracy? you been messing in action." varo asked. me, him and Michael was sitting in varo's office.
" nun I just been laying low." I said leaning back in the chair.
varo chuckled and his jaw bone tightened signaling he was beyond angry.
" Tracy if you don't tell me where the hell cash is I swear you will regret it." he said getting in my face. who do he think he is. he act like I don't want cash back but if I tell them anything cash and tasha will be killed instantly.
" f**k OFF VARO, YOU THINK I DON'T MY OWN FLESH AND BLOOD BACK. I DIDN'T WANT THIS s**t TO HAPPEN EITHER BUT IT DID AND WE GOT TO PLAY OUR CARDS RIGHT IF WE WANT CASH BACK SO CALM THE f**k DOWN AND GET OUT MY FACE." I yelled at him. he sat back in his chair.
" we have to be cautious about this, deshawn is smarter than you think trust me."
" how did you even get involved with him tracy" Michael asked. me and Michael had a little something before I got involved with deshawn but that's a whole other story.
"that's a long story "
"we've got time." Michael and varo said at the same time.
