It's a mother daughter thing
CASHS POV.
When I pulled up to the mall it was packed with people. I decided to find me a dress to wear for tomorrow night. I walked into the mall and into forever 21. I went to the dresses part and started looking through selections. I decided on a cream colored dress that’s long in the back and short in the front and a turquoise dress that goes to my knees.
"that one." I turned around to see a short Mexican girl pointing at the crème colored one. I looked at her and then back at the dress.
" sorry you just looked like you was making a hard decision and needed some help." She said with a chuckle.
" that's ok I was going to pick this one anyway." I said putting the turquoise dress back on the rack.
" im morgan." She said with a smile.
" i’m cashmerre but people call me cash."
"you aint from Compton, are you?"
" how did you know?"
" you have a different accent."
" oh im from Atlanta."
" oh thats cool, what brings you to Compton?" She asked as I walked to the cash register.
" I came to live with my uncle and cousin." I said paying for my dress.
" oh that's nice." she said as I got my dress.
" ayye I was about to hit the food court wanna come?" I asked walking out of forever 21.
" sure." She said following me. We went to the food court and got some pizza and just got to know each other. She told me she was Mexican and black and that her dad owned a lot of buildings in Hollywood. we exchanged numbers and I got up and left because varo was blowing up my phone telling me to come home.

" now repeat after me " let's get out of here daddy"." Varo said in a seductive voice. Every since I got back from the mall he been tryna train me on how to persuade this dude to come with me to the trap. I busted out laughing on his epic fail on trying to sound sexy.
" you sound so gay." I said trying to control my laughter. He looked at me like I was crazy and rolled his hazel eyes.
" girl boo, so wat you wearing to the club?" He asked in a gay voice. I busted out laughing at him. I don't know what it is, it's probably because i'm high but varo is hilarious right now. I got up and showed him my dress while munching on Oreos.
" thats nice, oooo I almost forgot I got some spy material." He said getting up and pulling out a box and handing it to me. I opened it and it was some kind of microphone earpiece.
" damn you went all out." I said. He took the microphone from me and put it in his ear and then put the other one in mine.
" this is for me and you to communicate while you at the club now if something pop off im going to have some of my boys there to protect you." He said. I rolled my eyes at him. I don't need nobody's protection I can handle my own.
" yea wat eva varo." I said getting up to take a shower.

I woke up to my phone ringing. I looked at the caller id and it was an unknown number.
" hello" I said setting up and stretching.
" h-h-e-e-y cash." A shaky voice said. I looked at the phone to see if I was hearing things or if I was going crazy.
" Ma?!" I said raising my voice.
" yea its me how is it out there in compton?" She asked tryna make small talk.
" Ma whats going on are you okay?" I asked ignoring her question.
" yes everything's fine, I j-j-u-s-t need y-you to ask uncle marcus to send me some money." She said in a panic voice. I forgot notify my momma about uncle marcus's death.
" why ma whats going on down there?" I asked panicking. I swear if that mother fucker and his daughter did something to moms ima kill them with my bear hands.
" NOTHING IS WRONG CASH DAMN JUST PUT MARCUS ON THE PHONE!" she screamed in my ear. What the hell happened down there. I guess this the best time to tell her.
" mom ummm, uncle marcus died." It was silence. I looked at my phone to see if she hung up.
" YOU b***h, WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO! I SWEAR EVERY WHERE YOU GO ITS A PROBLEM! IM COMING UP THERE AND MAKING SURE YOUR ASS IS PUT IN JAIL!" I looked at the phone as tears formed in my eyes. I can't believe the person that birth me just said that s**t to me. I hung up the phone and threw it at the wall and crawled in my bed and just cried.
