Since I was little, my mother taught me how being strong and confident is a way for us to continue living in this beautiful yet unfair world. And as someone who had to grew up in hiding, I thought the only person I need is my mother and no one else.
But tonight, I’m standing in the middle of this hall with the most beautiful woman, thinking how lucky I am to finally meet my mate. I know everyone is thinking badly about Laura for changing side immediately after I became alpha. Some even gave my mate the dirty looks. I couldn’t help but to glare back at those daggers eyes.
