Laura’s POV
With the wedding approaching fast, Charles and I have no time to even have lunch together anymore. The only time we got to see each other was when we had to go to bed. But even so, we couldn’t even have a proper talk or ask each other how our day went. But tonight, I decided to beat all odds and ask Charles if he is willing to grab some dinner on the balcony together.
It’s almost midnight and he usually be back by now. Seconds later, I heard the door being open and that’s when I saw Charles walking into the bedroom with a smile on his face.
“I didn’t expect you to be up this late. How’s your day, beautiful?”
