Laura’s PoV
Charles and I walked into the room while our mouths attached to each other. There were eyes watching us but we didn’t care as we already had announced our intentions to be husband and wife. I heard Charles close the door behind us before locking it.
When we pulled away, we were both out of breath. While admiring each other’s presence, Charles placed a finger under my chin before pushing me against the wall.
“You have such a mesmerizing scent, Laura. “
Charles leaned for another passionate kiss. I wrapped my arms around his shoulder before my hands went through his hair. I could feel both of Charles’s hands pulling my dress down. Now I understand why he was happy when I chose a strapless dress. Because it would be easier for him to undress me.
