I don't know why these few days I haven't had a good night's sleep, disturbed by my nightmare dreams where I dreamed not about getting a girlfriend, instead I dreamed of being laughed at by the senior and his bandmates and I felt myself doing something embarrassing in that dream. Shadows of Lipsinc and blackouts adorn my dreams.
“Go out from me now” I groaned which then woke up because someone was squirting my face.
"What are you doing so I'm wet" I said to Andi.
It turned out that Andi woke me up by pouring clear water on my face.
"After you don't hesitate to call, it's time to take a shower, wow, fortunately the room is not locked." Said Andi.
Finally Andi and I rushed to the routine every morning queuing up and then immediately I prepared clothes and apparently I forgot yesterday to iron the clothes I want to wear today so forced by the power of a lion to roar I ironed my clothes and it didn't feel my shirt had holes, really unlucky today.
"Shit." I tapped my forehead and that was followed by Andi, who without knocking on the door had entered while tapping my forehead he also said "it's great that you eat everything until you get rid of clothes."
"Wow, this is ironed. What are you wearing?" I asked Andi.
"Hey, it's a stylized shirt. Let's wear it today." Said the Andi again.
I just shook my head and then looked for other clothes and rushed off to campus and because I was in such a hurry I just realized I was wearing flip-flops to campus.
"It's no wonder that people will look at us and make you feel ashamed to wear flip-flops to campus." Said the Andi.
Before I answered the Roy suddenly tapped us on the shoulder until we both fell because of the heavy patting of this elephant.
Several children who saw us giggled, Andi immediately got up and I was then assisted by Roy to stand up.
"Sorry, I'm too excited, today there is a gig, I got a circular." Said Roy.
"Let's see." I hastily pulled the sheet and read.
"Well, the show is tomorrow." Said the Andi.
"Eh, here is written a free song according to the character of the band and the costumes also adjust to the character of the band." I read and they reread too.
Finally after coming home from campus lessons we practiced in the studio yesterday and also discussed what we would prepare.
"Seriously wearing this." Roy said doubtfully after I explained everything.
"It's according to the name of our band The Rock." I said.
"Oh, I'm ashamed. I don't have any other ideas," said Andi.
"Come on, who knows if we win like that." I said then.
Finally tomorrow is Sunday we arrived at the appointed place after registering we got serial number 11. Before we performed we rushed to put on all the equipment and clothes that we had prepared. Some of the other band members were giggling at us. But then a voice came from the stage.
"Let's welcome The Rock." The emcee started calling us.
I quickly pulled the red curtain aside, Andi looked embarrassed trying to cover himself behind Roy's big body.
There was laughter from the audience and then the judges laughed as they clapped their foreheads, followed by the host who started asking questions and calmed the audience.
"Why do you dress like that?" The presenter noticed us.
"This shows our character, mas with black make-up." I replied that we had agreed to use markers to color our eyebrows to make them thick, and our eyes with messy eyeliner.
"Then why also use it." The emcee pointed to the three of us
"This is according to the character of the band, our band name is The Rock." I said again.
"Not wearing a skirt, too." said the presenter.
Then the host invited us to perform, apparently we didn't expect the appreciation from the audience who clapped and sang along with us with the song we covered by the original singer.
After the song finished, loud applause adorned our performance today, which was different from our performance on campus.
“Good results for a great start.” I said to Roy and Andi.
"What did I say earlier?" said Andi, who was still discussing appearances.
"Come on, maybe our performance is ridiculous, so the audience will be amazed and like us." Roy said with a small laugh.
We then changed clothes and removed the make up from our faces after the gig while waiting for the next announcement from the presenter who was still hosting and mentioning the names of the bands.
