THE ROCK

CHALLENGE

      Suddenly the senior who was in front of the fence heard our conversation and began to say “Are you sure you want to register for the audition?” He stopped looking at us and his friends giggled and followed him.

      "Sure, I'll definitely come" I replied not looking at who I was talking to. Andi and Roy who turned their heads patted my shoulder which I brushed aside by rocking my back as I was reading about the senior band clearly displayed in the magazine.

      "Okay, I'm waiting for what happens to your band." He then left and I just looked up and realized who I was talking to at that time.

     "Wow, you're dead, you can't beat their band, do you know their band has won competitions in this city and is one of the bands that are often invited to television shows in this city, wedding invitations and college or school anniversary invitations" Roy again said while pulling the magazine after I finished reading the magazine he brought.

      "What can I do? we have to show that cool-a*s senior we can definitely win the band's audition match and beat him and make him read the magazine with our names on it" I began to fantasize while nodding my head.

          "What a dream,,,, seniors are really cool,, not like us who are like bums" Andi replied back.

      "Never mind the important thing now that we practice often, it's good if you win, you can recognize many people, you can earn money, you can perform everywhere and who knows you can get a girlfriend because we are single fans," I said laughing to my friends. same fate as this single.

        Andi and Roy could only shake their heads all the way to the hall which was the orientation site for the second day on campus. The senior who had then brought the mic and announced several performances for tomorrow as the closing of the last day of campus orientation.

         "Is there anything else to propose?" The senior said and was answered by a girl while raising her hand.

      " Will you performance at the closing of the orientation?" one of girl said.

     "Yes, it's sure but I can't wait to see this performance, Tomi and Jery eh sorry Tomi and Friend who don't know the name of the band" followed by the giggling laughter of friends behind him and cheers from friends on campus.  Roy  was starting to get nervous, immediately took a sip of water until he choked and the water appeared in his nose and didn't slide down his throat. Andi was even more desperate to pee, afraid of permission because he was embarrassed to be seen by his friends.

     "Come on guys calm down I'm with you" I calmed down my friends who were beside me and started to feel nervous.

     "Wow, if you don't look good tomorrow, you can be embarrassed for life," said Roy, followed by Andi's palms, who started to slap my forehead, wanting to know if I had a fever or not, so I wasn't ashamed to hear the senior's words.

       Immediately I started to raise my hand and stood up saying "Calm down, our seniors are ready to accept the challenge, who knows, seniors will be fans of us and ask for our autographs"

      Andi and Roy, who hurriedly pulled my pants, fortunately, the pants and wearing a belt would be embarrassed if they fell off in front of their college friends.

       The senior clapped his hands and was followed by cheers from his other friends and he started to say "If the performance is good, it's okay but if the performance forgets the lyrics and the lyrics are repeated like yesterday, don't ask me to be your fan club" he said with a laugh which makes me want to show him the music of this three friends.
