THE ROCK

SONG

           Since the incident of a one-sided breakup broken heart, David during training has not been as concentrated as when he was still not familiar with heartbreak. As usual, we played in a subscription studio near campus.

           " Stop." I said as I turned to David who was playing the keyboard. I then walked over to David and said, "You're serious, bro, this is very important for our band."

          "EH, sorry I made you repeat the song four times, I'm sorry." David said as he lowered his face.

          "It's okay, friend, we know you're injured but you can't see it and don't bleed but because we are a group of four single friends, we can't be discouraged and upset because of girls. Okay." Andi answered and the four of us then grabbed each other's shoulders and jumped together.

         In the morning when I was hanging out with David and Andi, Roy was allowed to go to the bathroom again to take out his gold treasure. The three of us saw Lina who for some reason the Andi had no longer noticed Lina and was happy again.

        "Hey guys, how's the song going?" The Roy had returned from the treasure trove.

        "Eh,,, yes, we have to perform and record two songs during this audition." I said again.

        "Then you said you did it." Andi answered.

       "Well, if the song has a cheerful theme, I will make it but for the mellow song, I can't make it." I said and then I turned to David and followed by the looks of Andi and Roy.

       David then said and looked nervous “Why me…why are you looking at me?” said David again.

       "Hey, boys, you're heartbroken, for the mellow song, can you show all your feelings to your song later, when it's done, let us know, we'll make it together while we record it together." I said.

      "Owh, that's what I did." David replied suddenly we all screamed "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH."

     "Uh how you can do that?" Andi answered.

     "Yes, at that time, the three of you showed me a sheet and I read the written terms and conditions that they had to show two songs by the band itself. The first is a cheerful song, the second is a mellow song. For some reason, when I was rejected by him I then took my guitar and started singing and then a note flashed and I then wrote the lyrics according to what happened yesterday. And it turned out to be too. I haven't shown you guys yet, because you guys are too busy with other band cover rehearsals." said David.

       Then it was Roy and Andi who turned to look at me with razor-sharp eyes, I hastily said "HEHEHE patient, I'm finished, I'm making this song." Finally after graduating I locked my room and started playing guitar and writing song lyrics. Some of my writing papers were scattered on the floor. I don't know why it feels stuck. "It turns out that making songs is hard too." I thought.

       Then I called David “How do you make a song fast and easy.'

       The David on the phone answered "Feel all what you feel then follow the strains of the notes you made earlier and write lyrics that express how you feel at that time."

      "Whats like that, don't you have any other tips?" I answered.

     " Nothing." David replied and then our conversation stopped because the signal network was intermittent, like a couple's love story that was on and on and on and on finally "Yes, friend, I want to continue writing the song again." I said as I hung up my phone.

       “Making a tune and feeling it and then writing lyrics according to the circumstances that describe the present.” I played with my guitar and looked for notes and then I found it so I then wrote the lyrics on paper and finally with doodles I re-write the song by including the Chord above the song.

      The morning was Sunday, my friends and I got together again in the studio.

       "Already made the song." Said Roy

     "Alright, here." I showed David, Roy and Andi.

    "Well the words are good, let's try to play first." And we also sang with the song I created with the arrangement of the three of them, namely Andi, Si Roy and Si David.

      "How is it going so smoothly?" Said Andi who started to say after my song ended while twirling his drumstick which then jumped on Roy's head.

      ' It's fine but don't hit people's heads either." Si Roy turned to Andi and the three of us laughed at Roy. Then we performed and arranged David's song.

       "Oops, your song breaks my heart, this single man." I said while looking at David

      “The song is really good.” Said Roy

     "Wow, seniors of the campus must be surprised when they see our band's performance again, but tomorrow we have to check the sound first and don't make any shameful ideas, wow, you're a stupid vocalist." Said the Andi then.

       "Yeah, okay, don't worry, tomorrow we won't be embarrassed anymore, we'll prove our band The Rock is real." I said while punching the air and was followed by a smile from them.
