THE ROCK

CIRCULAR PAPER

          As usual in the life of a boarding house boy, after coming home from my campus, Andi and Roy gathered together in my room to discuss music.

         "If there is news about the audition, quickly tell me Roy." I started to say to him followed by an answer from Andi "Tell me too."

        "Yes...yes, be patient but can our band win against the already famous senior's band?" Said Roy.

        "If we don't try, how will we know the result." I said.

        "But to be honest, what happened yesterday was embarrassing but never mind." Andi replied.

        "Let us show that our band The Rock is better than them." I started to climb the mattress which was then seen from below by Andi and Roy who were sitting on the floor.

         The next day I had a class schedule on campus while Andi at that time because the schedule on campus was empty he was just enjoying his vacation in boarding houses looking at the beautiful ceiling of the boarding house roof and the clean white walls of the room. I, who from this morning had a full schedule with Roy, finally got out and then Roy said "I've found the circular." Roy showed me the band's audition circular at the time with some conditions that are now impossible for us to do.

     "Here it says at least 4 band members and must bring their own songs." I said to Roy.

     "There are three of us and we don't have a song yet." Said Roy.

     "Let's go to our basecamp." I took Roy to my boarding house which is now our temporary basecamp for our band.

     "Maybe it's better if we go on a gig first to see if anyone is interested in joining our band and we'll look for new members on campus." Si Andi spoke while yawning his mouth wide open like a hippopotamus.

      "Eh, what about the song problem?" Roy replied.

     "How about I make it up first, then I'll show you when I've found the right lyrics and tune." I said.

     "Roy, you're looking for gigs, so we can perform as well as practice our performance, Andi and I want to find new members on campus, who knows if anyone is interested in our band." I squeaked again.

       "I'm sure someone wants to join our band, our band was famous for being embarrassing yesterday." Roy chimed in followed by Andi and I who looked at each other.
