My light feet hit the bare forest floor. I zoom past the trees in a blur. Aiden and Fred were behind me, though they had shifted to their wolf form.
“Lenny, are all the kids and aged in the bunker?” I asked the strongest female warrior that I had posted to the bunker.
“Yes, Alpha. Dennis and a few others just arrived with the members of the Red Crescent that couldn't fight.”
“Good. Are you guys safe though?”
“Yes Alpha, I can't sense any strange scent.”
“Keep me posted.” I zipped out of the mindlink.
“Alpha, please thread carefully incase a wolf is lucky nearby.” Aiden voices his concern.
