Alec gives her an inquisitive stare. She is opening herself to us and there is also an emergency with the pack. Alec slowly drifts back to my mind giving me back control.
She nods approvingly, and I dash towards the door, twisting the doorknob open. I race down the hallway, shouting orders to my warriors to make sure women who aren't warriors and children are hidden well.
Wait, I need to warn her not to leave the pack house for any reason.
I turned around, and returned to our room. “Babe,” She lifted her head, a curious gaze on her face.
“Please, don't leave the pack house for anything. In fact, don't leave my room at all.”
