“I'd want us all to lurk around but in hidden spots.” Was all I could muster at the moment.
“I have an even better idea.” Alpha Drew said with a sly smile playing on his lips.
“What's that?”
“I'd like to show you something almost no one knows about the headquarters, follow me.” He took a turn and began navigating the dark halls with us in tow.
“Do you trust him?” Shelly asked using the mindlink.
“Yes, I trust him to an extent.”
“Okay, that's better than nothing.” Then she goes silent, holding onto my arm with sweaty palms.
He paused suddenly and looked around for minutes, then muttered something to himself and pushed a brick on the wall.
To our surprise it opened with ease and the wall gave way for an opening, he stepped inside without second thoughts.
