Mellisa's POV
My heart pounded so hard in my chest, it hurt so bad.
I rubbed my hand against her face gently, cuddling her close. Tears streamed down my face.
“Aiden, please help!” I screamed through the mindlink.
“What's wrong, Alpha?” I could feel his concern through the mindlink.
“Intruder! We have an Intruder! Tell Dr. Freda to come here immediately, Cheryl's been shot with silver and wolves bane.”
“Who's Cheryl?” He asks, confused.
“Just do it!” I block him out.
She's getting cold, but I don't even know what to do.
The pain of losing her resonates through me. A bright light shone from the pendant; it engulfed us both completely in the dark night.
It sucks into her, I'm dazed momentarily as this happens. There's so much to know about this.
