Mellisa's POV
This was not good, I'm supposed to be mad at the i***t. His touch made me melt in his arms.
“Keep lying to yourself, you don't want him.” Selena said with a chuckle.
“Shut up.”
I used every bit of resolve that I had left to push him off. “What do you think you're doing, Adam?” I snarled.
He shrugged and didn't seem offended but gave me a smile. “Well, I wanted you to finish what you started.”
I could barely keep my eyes on his face. My eyes kept going to his chest and biceps.
“Like what you see, Mellisa?”
I shook my head and growled. “It's Alpha Mellisa to you.”
He gave me a look of regret. “I can't turn the hands of time but please forgive me. I don't deserve it but I promise to bring you nothing but happiness.”
