Adam's POV
"What in the world do you mean by that?” Mellisa asked just as Shelly slumped completely limp in her arms.
“Shelly? Shelly!” She placed her gently against the ground. “Call for help from someone.”
I picked her up and rushed outside and headed towards the infirmary. My feet almost felt like they were about to fall off.
“Alpha, is there anything wrong?” A random maid said, while I stopped right in front of the infirmary.
“Call the doctor, we need help. Right now!”
She nodded and rushed over. The rest made sure to meet up with me. I barely spared them a glance because I know that left to Mellisa I shouldn't be here.
“I can't imagine what it feels like to lose your baby. She seemed so out of it when she told me. The loss of her child did something to her.”
