Mellisa's POV
I looked at the two figures on the floor in my office. Several wolves had howled in response to Adam's pained howl. I felt a bit of pity for him, but I scolded myself.
“Don't become something else because of resentment.” My wolf Selena, whispered at the back of my head.
“He became a monster because he thought that I was a cheat.”
“Don’t be the monster that hurt you.” She said and didn't say a word again.
“It's such a pity that Alpha Adam has been living a lie for so long.” Alpha Drew said from his seat. I almost forgot they were still here.
“s**t! This is real. I know you were innocent but I didn't think she went that far to get your man.” Magnus said to me, he has a look I can't decipher.
“I..I..” Adam looked at me and tried to speak but nothing really came out.
