Both the men watched her in silence. Her hands shook and she was deliberately afraid. Both for her life and her children. With a small touch of the glass vial to her lips she almost dumped the contents into her mouth but stopped. "What is this?" She stopped to ask.
They took one moment to look at her then Samilion took the vial from her hands. "Open your mouth" At Melinia's gasp he took a chunk of her hair and pulled. Her mouth flew open from the pain and he dumped the contents into her mouth. He then closed her nose and mouth so that she had no choice but to swallow.
The contents tasted of bitterness and moist. It slid down her throat in a wet chunk. Melinia had no air to fight back with the disgusting syrup and Samilion held her nose shut. She could drown from the content
