Kylah's POV

As we all began to head upstairs, there was a loud pounding on the door. You can't even say it was a knock, and then the door was flown open to reveal my brother and father. Nick's father, Alpha Christianson, stepped into his role of Alpha quickly. "What can I do for you gentlemen?" he asked my brother and father. My father answered "you can give me my daughter back!" I then stepped down and said "I am going nowhere with you. I have denounced myself from your pack, it isn't my home and hasn't been since I was 9 years old. Please leave this packhouse, you're not welcome here." And I turned and continued up the stairs to see my new room, which I was all too aware I'd be sharing with Nick. While he was showing me the way to his room, we heard a bunch of shouting coming from the foyer, and then I heard his father saying "I KNOW WHAT YOU DID TO HER AND SO DOES THE WOLF COUNCIL. I SUGGEST YOU LEAVE BEFORE THEY FIND OUT WHY YOU WERE HERE!" At that moment, all four of us took off running to the foyer to see a couple warriors forcing my brother and father to leave and then Nick said "know this if you try to come and take her by force you will then be waging war with an allied pack so think long and hard about your next move." and he said it rather menacingly.

Nick's POV

I can't wait for these jackoffs to leave so Kylah and I can seal the bond. I can smell she wants to also. Once they leave, we head back up to our room, she sits on the bed and I can tell she's deep in thought. So I ask her what's on her mind, and she responds with "nothing to be concerned with". And we get to work sealing the bond and marking each other. Once we are finished, I look at her neck where it meets her shoulder and see a black wolf howling at a silver moon. And I got up to go in the bathroom to wash and see her mark on my neck was a deep purple wolf howling at a silver moon. I asked her when I saw it "what color is your wolf?" she said "I don't know, I haven't shifted to see." I told her "we're going to have to get you to shift, but that's for a later date, welcome to Silver Moon my love."
