Chapter Seven

Nick's POV

With all the commotion going on, my best friend and soon-to-be Beta, Andrew, walked up, and asked "Dude, what was that all about?" I told him "since you were out sick all last week, I found my Mate. Her name is Kylah Michaels, daughter of Alpha Johnathon Michaels of the Harvest Moon pack, the biggest pack in DFW." Andrew had a stunned look on his face but nonetheless congratulated me on finding my mate while still in high school. I continued to tell him what I had learned about her so far. "Her pack members treat her poorly, she's the alpha's daughter. They should treat her with respect, there's something not right going on here," I said. With that statement, Andrew wasn't happy with the news either.

Kylah's POV

I walked away from Georgina (I now knew her name, and wish I didn't) and my mate Nick without even thinking. I turned around and started to walk back to him. I saw him talking to his friend. I've seen them hang around each other a lot. They must be close friends. I walked back up to them and introduced myself to his friend. "Hi, my name is Kylah Michaels." Andrew looked at me and smiled and said, "Hello, my name is Andrew Jones, soon-to-be Beta to Silver Moon and best friend to Nick here." Best friend, I wish I had a best friend I found myself whispering out loud.
