Chapter Two

Kylah's POV

It is a rather chilly morning for fall this time of year. I made my way to school, walked in, and went straight to my locker to get my books for my classes. I don't really have any friends. I'm not well-liked, so when the school bully whose name I fail to remember currently, or did I not care enough to learn it? Who knows? Anyway, she pushed me into my locker and then slammed it on my hand. Then, she walked away laughing as if she had just accomplished the greatest feat known to man. I proceed to gather my books and go to class.

Nick's POV

" I just want this day to be over with," I said to no one in particular, more so myself. I go to my locker and gather my books as the most amazing smell hit my nostrils. It smells like red honeysuckle nectar. I probably looked weird to all the human students, but oh well, I sniffed the air, followed the scent, and found her, my Mate! Oh, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Nick and I am the soon-to-be Alpha of the Silver Moon pack here in the Mesquite, TX area.
