Chapter-23

Zara p.o.v

I  woke up as usual alone in the house , Zubair must have gone to his office while all I do roam in the house like a ghost apart from praying Salah , I  have no work to do.

After getting fresh , I  went downstair the moment my eyes landed on the same spot where Zubair and his girlfriend having a moment , I  felt a dip in my stomach ignoring the last night memories, I  went to make breakfast . They had a chef who makes breakfast but I  ask him not to cook for me since I have no work to do then why not cook for myself.

After making bread toast and egg , I took the tray to the dining table and eat quietly. Day by day my fear of being alone is getting best out of me , everything in my mind is messing up as I felt like if I  continues like this , I  might lose my sense because Zubair doesn't even let me to meet anyone neither let me go out , I am now suffocating here day by day and I don't know how long I will be able to survive like this .

After eating and cleaning the place , I went to my room then I change the bedsheets after that I went to take shower after getting dress I heard the Azaan from the near mosque and sigh peacefully.  Everytime I hears Azaan it gives me hope for better future.

After Azaan finished I perform wadhu and prayed zohar salah .

After praying I made dua to Allah s.w.t  to forgive me for my wrong doing and thank him for everything he has given me , I asked him strength for patience which I am losing day by day. I prayed to him that whatever is happening makes me a better and good person . I also prayed to him that Allah s.w.t can change anyone so I prayed to him to change the heart of my husband and makes him a better man .

Noor p.o.v

" You should have ran away " Rumi said getting worried.

" Run and me have you forgotten I am black belt " I said proudly.

Right now we are at our breakfast table and Maasi asked me what happen to my swollen lips then I told them the whole story of fighting but there a catch I didn't tell them how Asad aka Mr. Rude save me instead this is what I said.

" I kick that person so hard on his family jewel that he fell on the floor groaning " I laugh and Rumi giggle giving me high five .

" But Noor it's risky , you have to promise me to never go away like this again " she said getting upset .

" Maasi I promise now I won't go anywhere but do you know the man who slap me came with a alcohol bottle and tried to hit me with it " I said dramatically.

Maasi and Rumi both gasp in surprised.

" What " they said in union .

" Yes " I confirm " but you know what I took that bottle and broke it on his head " I laugh while Maasi look behind.

" Asad why didn't you help her fighting with the goons" She asked and my body stiffen whattt....

He is behind me !!!!!

Third person p.o.v

Asad stood there listening to Noor rant about how she fought that night , to say the truth this girl now amusing him .

He just stood quietly when Maryam eyes landed on him .

" " Asad why didn't you help her fighting with the goons" Maryam questions him . He cleared his throat and tried his best not to laugh.

Noor face was red with embarassement.

Asad sat in front of Noor while she look down in embarassement.

His lip twitch " Umm Ammi when I came , she has already beaten all the goons alone , there was no need for me "He said in a deep husky voice while He took a piece of bread and tried to focus on it but his eyes found Noor who breathed in relief knowing that Asad is not gonna expose her lie.

" Oh my God Noor you are amazing " Rumi giggle and give her side hug .

Asad shook his head at there silliness and continue eating .

After eating his break Asad spoke " Ammi Umar family is coming tomorrow to talk about the wedding .

" But is in it soon " Noor spoke before she could stop herself.

Asad look at her " I - I mean Rumi is about to join the course and it will take time for her to adjust with the routine so if- I am sorry if - I said something wrong " Noor said getting scared that it might upset Asad .

Maryam kept quiet so does Rumi they waited for Asad .

" Yes that's what I am thinking Ammi I was thinking if Umar family doesn't have any problem then we can ask them to delay the marriage or just do Nikkah after Rumi settled with her studies than we will do ruksati " Asad said surprising everyone .

" Yeah it will be great, we should talk to Umar family " Maryam said getting happy with Asad decision.

Noor couldn't help but smile when Asad glance at her , Noor heart skip a beat when Asad smile at her and stood up.

" I should be get going " He kissed Maryam and Rumi foreheads and walk away saying Salam.

Zara was sitting on the couch while watching a comedy show , she was laughing so hard as she enjoyed the show just then Zubair entered and stop in his mid step when he heard laughing none other than his wife , Her laugh was sounding like an angel in his ear . He just stood there and stared at her but the moment Zara eyes saw him , her smile immediately vanish as she stood up quickly and about to go to her room when Zubair stop her .

" Wait "

She turned around fear was evident in her eyes when Zubair walk toward her.

" Pack your clothes, we are going on a family vacation with my sister's family " He said and walk away while Zara couldn't believe what she heard .

Slowly smile crept in her face which turned into giggle " Finally, I will go out of this prison " She jump in happiness .
