Noor p.o.v

Mehek and I walked out of the class after attending a hectic lectures of the today, to say the truth we are exhausted, my stomach grumble and I look at Mehek who gave me a sympathy look " Lets go eat something , before we die " with that we drag ourselves in the canteen after getting our food.

Mehek drop her head on the table dramatically " Why, why did I do this to myself why " she whine like a child , I shook my head at her antics , and eat my burger silently. She sat properly and look at me.

"Do you know  in that lecture room , I felt like I was dying " with that she again drop her head on the table dramatically , making me chuckle .

" Don't be so dramatic, it's not that bad " I tried to encourage her .

Her eyes widen as she look at me surprised " Bad , it's worst if there was time travel , I would have used it and slap my old self, for doing this to my future , what the hell she was thinking when she choose  medical career "

I laugh hard this time " Aww my poor baby , we will survive this don't worry "

She made a face like she is thinking something " Do you think , I will survive my medical life "

I rolled my eyes " Ya Allah Mehek , you are so dramatic , more then me "

" No I am not dramatic , have you seen  the assignment they gave us , do they really think we don't have a life " Mehek said irritated.

I wipe my face with a tissue " I love the time , I spent at the lecture , we got to know so many new things about human body , it's fascinating " I smiled brightly at her.

But all she returned is " Dork"

After attending all the lecture, I went to home , I entered the house and greeted " Assalawalekom "

" Walekomassalam " Maasi greeted me back from the kitchen.

Urhgg don't remind me of kitchen , thankfully Asad didn't said anything to Maasi or my reputation would have  been gone .

" What are you cooking " I asked Maasi as soon as I entered the kitchen.

" Food ??" She tease me .

" Hahahaha very funny " I fake laugh.

" I know my sense of humour is amazing " she winked at me .

" Hawww Maasi, you are in full form today " I bump my shoulder to hers teasingly.

" Because I am very happy today " she said while turning the stove off .

" something special today " I raised my eyebrows.

" Yes , today a family is going to come and see Rumaisa " she said excited.

" What really " I asked getting .

" Our Rumi is going to get married " I  jump in happiness.

" nothing is fixed right now, first they will come and see Rumi after that Insha allah " She said smiling .

" Of course they are going to like, Rumi she is beautiful, intelligent and most important, she is an amazing cook " I laugh .

" Where is she anyway " I asked looking here and there.

" She is in her room , feeling shy I guess " Maasi started cooking another dish.

" Do you need any help " I asked her.

" NO" Her eyes widen .

" why " I ask her not understanding her reaction .

She put her hand on her hips " Then mess you have created that day  I know everything " she laugh when my eyes widen.

" Maasi " I whine when she laugh more .

" I am going to my room " I stomp my feet like a child .

But instead of going to my room , I went to Asad room and barg in without knocking.

My eyes widen and so was his , we both turned around.

Six pack abs Umm Seher Astagfirullah

" Can't you knock on the door " Asad voice boom .

" Umm Ahh, can't you lock the door " I turned to see him fully dress now.

" Excuse me " He narrowed his eyes at me.

I cross my arm around my chest proudly " You are already excuse"

" You " Asad about to start her angry rant when I shush him.

" You " I point my fingers at him " You told Maasi about my kitchen blunder " I accused him

" I did not , she found out when she saw the burn rotis on the dustbin " He  smirk taunting.

" It's- it's wasn't burnt alright , the roti is brownish in colour " I tried to justify myself .

" That brown roti is called burn food " He taunted and my mouth hung open.

" You are rude " I said furstated not getting good comeback.

" And you are i***t " He retorted back .

I gasp " I am going to be a doctor, I am intelligent "

He made a tsk tsk sound " Poor future patients "

My eyes widen in anger " YOU " but before I could say something he called out " Ammi , there you are " I turned around to see there was no one at the door just I look toward he was gone , then I felt a slap on my head , I turned to see Asad running closing the door behind me .

" WHAT " I stomped my feet in anger .

" I hate him "

Just when I finished praying magrib, I heard a knock , I turned to see Asad standing at the door , looking so handsome yet innocent.

Astagfirullah, Noor what is wrong with you....

" Yes " I ask him

But he just stood there , I stood up and walked toward him " Do you need something "

" No I- I just came to tell you that guest are coming so " He stop and look at me.

" So? " I raised my eyebrows.

" Please behave " He spoke and I felt my temper suddenly rise to 1000.

" Behave !! , do I look an ill mannered animal to you, that you are asking me to behave " I gritted my teeth in anger.

He cleared his throat " No I- I mean to say it's about Rumi and I don't want any kind of mistake Please understand " He said politely for the first time.

" Okay " I whispered taking him by surprise.

A little smile appear on his lips " Okay " with that he left .
