A Dark Side.

He walked down the hallway with his hands deep into his pockets, he stopped in his tracks as he caught sight of Theo holding onto Eliza, as she was deep in his arms. He watched them as they got farer and farer away from his view until they turned down the hallway, he stood for a minute as his thoughts rushed around in a whirlwind, he cleared his throat and turned back around and made his way back to where he came from.

Lilian wrapped her hands around her arms and looked out to sea as she releases a deep breathe, she looks down to the hospital garden that had patients sitting and spending their leisurely time enjoying the sun, she shuts her eyes as she faces towards the sun and soaks in it's warmth. 

"All I ask for , is peace" she whispers, as she grips onto her sweater,

a soft breeze brushes against her cheek, she listens quietly and waits expectantly, she smiles as a tear slides down her cheek, as she hears a name in a soft whisper

" Chloe" 

she opened her eyes and realized she needed her best friend, she wiped her cheek and whispers "thank you" before turning her back and walking back into the hall.

Amberly glares fiery daggers at Rolland as he smirks amusingly at her, he folds his arms and sighs "ya know, you kinda look cute when you're pissed" 

she scoffed "how long do I have to put up with this stupid charade?" 

"that's entirely up to you honey, either you tell your sweet Father that his sweet daughter is dealing with drugs or you go on a few dates with me and call me your baby"

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!" she yelled, she grabbed his jacket, clenching it tightly "WHY CAN'T YOU JUST BLACKMAIL ME FOR MONEY ?!" 

he stares at her, he lets out a scoff, pushing her hands off  "Am I poor?" he hissed, he smirks nastily as his eyes falls onto her lips "I have everything I'll ever need" he whispers, he leans in, closing the gap between their faces "all I need is the girl". She furiously pushes him back and storms out of the empty auditorium, he watches her as she pushes through the doors, leaving him behind. 

He watches the little girl brush off the sand on her jeans and giggled as she sees a snail crawl up the flower she had plucked from the garden. Her golden locks bounced around her small shoulders, he made his way towards her and sits by her, she looks at him and smiles, dimples forming in her cheeks, he felt his heart flutter and couldn't help but smile back

"you wanna play with me?" she asks with a soft tone

he nodded "sure" he answered timidly, she hands him a toy car and they began to clear a road in the sand for their car race. He finds himself, glancing at her face once in a while, he was ten and he didn't know what love was until he set eyes on Amberly Mason.

He punched his chest as he felt so much resent, he lets out a deep sigh as he ran his fingers through his hair, he hated himself for cornering her the way he did, but he didn't know to get her to like him since she didn't like him one bit. It was the only way to get her to date him so she'd see what a kind of person he really was. He wanted to tell her how much he missed her. He wished he could have gone back then and won her then, maybe then, it'd be different.

The last bell sounded through the school and the classrooms were immediately emptied in an instant, Eliza stared out the window as she held her hands to her mouth, she lets out a soft breathe and buries her face into her hands 

"Mama!" 

"Eliza?" 

she snapped her head up suddenly, "whoa" Ethan exclaimed as he got closer to her side. She looked at his face and relaxed, "hey, you okay?" he asked concernedly 

she forced a small smile and nodded, letting out a shaky "yeah"

"come on, let's go home" he urges, he helps her and takes her out of the classroom. Theodore meets them outside the classroom and they make their way to her locker, she puts her books in and took what she needed. They finally made their way down the busy hallway, towards the exit, Tracy calls Ethan from down the hall, he looks back and gives a nod, "hey man, can you take her to the car?" he asked, throwing him his key and walking back to Tracy. Eliza groaned, folding her arms "I don't need a babysitter" 

"I'm not a baby sitter" Theo deadpanned "I need to get paid in order to be one, and you're not paying me, aren't ya?" he said stooping down to her level

she rolled her eyes and turned around, he grinned and followed her out of the hallway. They made their way to the parking lot and got to Ethan's car, Theo opened the doors and turns around as he hears his name being called out, he sees two of his teammates wave him over from the other side of the parking lot, he looks over to Eliza "can you wait alone?" he asked concerned 

she frowned at him "what am I? Five?" she retorted, he snorts a chuckle and tosses the key to her, "I'll be back in a few seconds" she ignored him and got into the car, she throws her bag into the back seat and leans back comfortably. She shuts her eyes and slowly drifts off, she suddenly jolts up from her seat as she realizes she was close to dosing off, 

"no" she whispers, she folded her arms and looked straight ahead "not again" 

"MAMA!" 

she bit her lip, shaking her head "no" she says, letting out a small chuckle, "MUMMY!" , she felt her chest tighten as she sees her mothers body sprawled on the floor, she looks down at her bloody hands and lets out a scream,  "No!" she yelled as she squeezed her eyes shut and shook her head frantically, she grabbed fists of her hair and tugged on it aggressively 

"MUMMY!" 

"shut up! shut up! shut up!" she yelled, hitting her head with the bottom of her palm, "shut up! Stop it! Stop it!" 

she gasped aloud, as her wrist was pulled away from her head, she looked out and sees Jonathan standing by her side with her door open, 

"what the hell's wrong with you?" he yelled, looking down at her, she lets out heavy breathes and pulled her hand away, "let me go" she says shakily

he stared at her, as she recomposed herself, she fixed her hair and pulled her skirt down, pressing it out, she lets out several deep breathes before looking at him

"move" she says, Jonathan frowns at her "what?", her eyes cold and dark as they pierce into his gaze

"move" she repeated 

he stares at her, he had never seen her eyes so cold and dark before, he did what she said and moved back. She shuts the door and moves over to the drivers seat, she started the car and drove out of the parking lot. Theo  turns and watches the car sped past him, 

"Eliza!" he cried, as the car drove off into a distance.
