"Naomi!"
The auditorium was empty, eerily quiet in the twilight.
Iris called Naomi's name twice but got no response.
Worried and confused, she pulled out her phone and redialed Naomi's number.
The faint sound of a ringtone echoed in the distance.
Following the sound, Iris exited through a small door in the corner of the auditorium and headed towards the restroom across the hall.
'Maybe Naomi is in there freshening up,' Iris thought as she pushed open the restroom door.
The ringtone grew louder. Iris placed her books on the sink and, with her free hand, pushed open the stall door from which the sound was coming.
Just then, the call disconnected, and the ringtone stopped abruptly.
The stall was empty, with only a phone left on the toilet seat.
'Something's wrong!' Iris immediately
