Lucy’s POV
I know about the fact that Avery and Daniel are mates. I am not dumb. But I had to do what I did in the party because I cannot let Avery have all the things I want in life. I don’t hate her but I just don’t like her. When I turned 18 , I found a mate too but after a year or so he died. Avery consoled me but i just didn’t like people pitying me. I will not let Avery have daniel, at all. I have a boyfriend who also wants revenge from Daniel for God’s know what but when our goal is same and we will sooner or later achieve it.
Daniel’s POV
I have set up everything I could for Avery. I know she’s a simple girl and her simplicity is one of the best things in her. I smell her coming here.
Avery’s POV
Just as I go in the woods it’s evening almost , I see arrows leading the way. Going through the path I saw Daniel with an ‘ I am sorry ‘ board. I felt sparkles in my heart but I resisted. He prepared snacks , a projector , mat , fairy lights for me. As I go towards him I asked him ‘ What is it daniel? ‘
‘ I am sorry Avery , I know I have hurted you many times In the span of such less time. But I had no idea you are my mate and I did not know what I was doing. Just give me a chance to love you and fix myself. I promise you I will do everything to make us together and happy.’ Daniel said
Deep down I felt sad that he almost had tears while saying all of this , so I forgave him and chose to give us a chance.
‘ it’s okay Daniel , lets give it a chance. But let me tell you I am not any girl you can play with. One mistake and I am never forgiving you again. ‘ I said
He was surprised by my reply , maybe he thought I won’t forgive him easily but well love makes you do unexpected things.
We spend the whole evening together and watched ‘ The kissing booth 2 ‘ together. Actually this movie made me realise how much misunderstandings one can have and we should always communicate , so I made up my mind that I will always have communication with Daniel about things so I never misunderstand him.
