    Nevaeh scowled at her appearance in the huge ornate mirror cornered in her bedroom. Her face had healed considerably since this morning’s mayhem when the demon Yuro decided to scour the left side of her face with gravel. Yet, there were still notable scabs trailing down the bridge of her nose and across her cheek and jaw line.
