Chapter 57

2571 Words

Nevaeh looked out the back window at the two other SUVs following behind. Her parents had decided to come with them to Shere Wood when her father found out about the hidden Lycan crypt and its ties to Tate’s prophecy. Anxiety and maybe even excitement had touched everyone involved. Was this really it? Nevaeh hoped so. Tate deserved to finally put all this behind him, and maybe live a normal life without having to worry about killing the Big Bad, saving the world and stopping the end of day.     Since her parents had to prepare a security detail as well as prepare for the trip, they had pushed the departure to Shere Wood until the next day. So, it was just after breakfast when everyone loaded up into the caravan of cars and headed out on the thirty-minute journey to Ofa’s packlands.
