The unexpected encounter

“ Grace come ON !! The guys will be here any minute and I need in there too!!” Serenity pounded on the door. Grace always took forever in the bathroom. Grace finally opened the door. Her long black hair curled to perfection as always. Her blue dress made her eyes stand out. She has 1 blue and 1 green eye just like me. We are twins. “How are you going to bowl in that dress?” I asked seeing how short her dress is.
“Simple, I’ll just have to have one of the guys help me.” We are twins but the only thing we share are our eyes. Grace is dark skinned, long black hair. As for me well I have very light skin with silver hair. We have had people question if we were actually twins let alone sisters.
“Serenity please tell me you are wearing something other than ..that.”
“Yes I’m dressed comfortably and to actually bowl and have a good time.”
“Fine what ever.” Grace rolls her eyes at me. Grace is into looks and getting attention from the boys. Me, I would rather not draw attention to myself. We hear a pick up roar into the driveway. Serenity gives a little squeal of delight. Josh and Adam have arrived. Serenity has been dating Josh for a few months. Adam and I are the tag alongs. We have been friends since Serenity and I moved in with my aunt and uncle when our parents died.
“Girl’s the boys are here, as if you couldn’t hear them pull up” Aunt Chloe yelled up the steps.
Serenity and I make our way out to the truck. Adam hops out and opens the door for Serenity and I. As soon as Serenity is in and sitting next to Josh she cranks up the music. Adam and I just look at each other and roll our eyes. Tonight I want to just let loose and have some fun. Tonight I want to forget about pack work. Tonight won’t be anything other than having a goodnight with my sister and friends. At least that was the plan. Funny how plans can go entirely different than what you expect.
