Lucas pov

with mitch carrying our bags i entwine my fingers in hers as we make our way down to the car, i pretend to work on emails but really im watching my angel gaze out the window her golden blonde hair blowing in the breeze, my heart melts as she gets excited at the colours of the flowers we pass and the deer prancing alongside the car, she glances over to me, "hows the emails coming" she enquires knowing that in the room i had been drafting an email to the alpha king. "weve had a reply my love, he is personally coming in 2 weeks" the joy fades from her face and worry sets in "what if he makes me go back? my parents are dead, the Alpha and Luna are technically my guardians" i can here a quiver in her voice as she is fighting the tears. "you are not going anyware you are my Luna,My angel, my whole world, the king is coming because of a few different things but the latest thing is how people in his pack are treated, especially you, its not right" its all i can say to try to reassure her, she goes back to gazing out the window.

with 30 minutes left of the journey i tell Mitch to mindlink my parents and gamma Leona and give them the heads up we are nearly back.

Beta Mitch

we pull over while i mindlink "Alpha David, Luna Jane,Gamma Leona we aew 30 minutes out, Gamma please have the adjoining room to Alpha Lucas set up we are bring someone back with us, we hit a snag while checking out sapphire falls, we also have 2 weeks to prepare for the king" after giving them all the heads up Lucas asked of me i put my block up i know Luna Jane is trying to get my block down and want to know about the mystery person but it wasnt my place to divulge that information, we set of again

Lucas pov

we pull up the drive and i hear Anyas breathing quicken as she begins to panic. leaning over i take her hand in mine reassuring her everything was okay and she was finally safe. i glance out her window and instantly saw what made her panic my parents and gamma were rushing down the front steps and the omegas were lining the stairs to welcome us home, as we park i tell her to wait in the car for a minute.

walking around the back of the car my mother pulls me into her arms, she starts to ramble about how worried she was about me, and how mitch had only given basic information about bringing someone back and the king being involved. my dad soon calms her down as i turn and open the car door and helping Anya out, "this is Anya, my mate, i found her mum i finally found her" i tell my mum full of pride, as for the king Anya didnt have the best life losing her parents at young age and becoming the alphas personal slave and there was so much wrong with that pack that Alpha Michael needs to be stoppped.

Luna Jane pov

i can tell how happy my son is by the massive grin he has on his face as he opens the door, when the young girl takes his hand and climbs out our eyes meet and she instantly bares her neck to us, "stand tall sweetheart, you are a luna now" i tell her i feel the colour leave my face, her parents are part of our pack now, they had to leave their daughter behind 17 years ago, after finding out the poor girl thinks her parents are dead we really need to be careful about how we approach this, "lets get Anya settled perhaps a warm bath will help you to relax" i tell her "Lucas, when shes settled can we meet i have something to discuss with you".

i head up to his office to wait unsure of how to break the news to him that his lunas parents are actually in our pack her mum a nurse her dad our head warrior. i hear the door turn and in walks lucas wth mitch at his side, "whats up mum?" he asks me i can tell by his voice hers concerned, "its about Anya, her parents arnt dead" i decided to tell him straight, "who" he demands "they need to know and we need to tell anya as soon as possible too", "you know nurse nicola and head warrior charlie? well its them. "well call them for a meeting first thing tomorrow"

Anya pov

pulling up to the packhouse my heart is beating a mile a minute and my breathing is becoming rapaid as the anxiety sets in lucas leans over and takes my hand in his reassuring me that everything is okay. he gets out and walks round to my side of the car greeting his mother, i can tell shes anxious to know whats happend but shes talking so fast i cant quite make out whats being said, the door opens and lucas appears holding out his hand"ready angel?" he asks me i climb out the car and he introduces me i can hear the excitement in voice, making eye contact with his mum i bare my neck to her instantly "stand tall sweetheart, your a luna now" she tells me, she tries to smile but i can see the colour has drained from her face. Lucas then leads me upstairs and shows me to my room, "will i not be staying with you?" i ask nervously "i had them set this room up for you incase you wanted space to adjust my room is actually threw that adjoining door" he says as he opens the door to his room, my room has a huge queensize bed, a huge window overlooking the meadow, we actually share a huge balcony too that is perfect for watching the sunset. "have a look threw that door over there my love" he says eagerly, i head over to find a large walk in wardrobe filled with so many clothes i find jeans, leggins tops shorts jumpers but i turn around and see so many stunning gowns in all shapes and colours and the shoe collection i cant help but squeal and jump into lucas's arms "thank you so much" "your very welcome my angel" he says with a chuckle.

Lucas pov

i cant help but chuckle at her reaction to the room especially the wardrobe, i help her run a bubble bath and set up a few candles and leave her to enjoy a long soak, i head to my office wondering what was wrong with mum earlier, i thought she would be happy i found my mate.

im gobsmacked at my mums news, how do i tell Anya shes spent all these years thinking her parents were dead when actually they were a 10hr car journey away, we arrange that ill tell anya tonight and then well tell her parents tomorrow, luckily her parents know she is alive but what they dont know is how she was treated at sapphire falls after they left.

back in the bedroom i find Anya sitting on the bed in fluffy pajamas, fluffy dressing gown and fluffy slippers laughing at the tv, "hey my love mind if we pause this something has come to light that concerns you and its really important" i can see her begin to panic as the tears well up in her eyes. "sweetheart its about your mum and dad, theyre..... theyre alive, there here in the pack, thats what mum wanted to talk to me about, thats why she went a bit weird when i introduced you.

hey how about we invite mitch and his mate ruth for dinner? we can order in whatever you want.

Anya pov

Alive? my parents are...Alive? 17 years ive been without them thinking they had died in a rouge attack, but really they were here safe and happy. "why didnt they come back for me?" what did i do for them to leave me?" all questions i start spouting im sure Lucas thinks im talking gibberish, but he just holds me and tells me "everything will be alright, were going to get to the bottom of this"he promises.

we decide to order in and have dinner in our room so much food arrived as i had no idea what i liked so we invited beta Mitch to join us with his mate Ruth inhopes me and Ruth would bond. we sit there digging in to so much food everything off the menu from mcdonalds,before long im yawning thankfully mitch and ruth used this as a queue to head to bed themselves. i snuggle into lucas arms and slowly drift off and for the first time in as long as i can remember i sleep peacefully.
