Chapter 15: The Plan

474 Words
The group sat in a circle, their faces lit by the flickering flames of a small fire. They discussed their plan, throwing around ideas and strategies. Lin Feng listened intently, his mind racing with possibilities. "We need to gather more information about Zhou Wen's plans," one of them said. "We can't just charge in blindly." "I agree," Lin Feng said. "But we also need to be prepared for anything. We don't know what kind of power Zhou Wen has at his disposal." Ling nodded. "I've heard rumors of a secret organization that Zhou Wen is working with. If we can infiltrate them, we might be able to get more information." The group discussed the idea, weighing the risks and benefits. Finally, they came up with a plan. Lin Feng would lead a small team to infiltrate the organization, gathering information about Zhou Wen's plans and trying to sabotage them from within. Meanwhile, the rest of the group would prepare for battle, ready to strike at a moment's notice. As they finalized their plan, Lin Feng felt a sense of determination. He was ready to face whatever lay ahead, knowing that he had a team behind him. The night wore on, and the group made their preparations. Lin Feng and his team set out under the cover of darkness, their mission to infiltrate the organization and gather information. As they crept through the shadows, Lin Feng's senses were on high alert. He knew that one misstep could mean capture or worse. They reached the organization's hideout, a heavily guarded fortress in the heart of the city. Lin Feng and his team slipped in unnoticed, their hearts pounding with excitement and fear. Once inside, they began to gather information, sneaking from room to room and snatching documents and scrolls. Lin Feng's eyes scanned the pages, his mind racing with the implications. Zhou Wen's plan was bigger than they had ever imagined. He was planning to overthrow the current government and take control for himself. Lin Feng's team worked quickly, gathering as much information as they could. But as they turned to leave, they were caught by one of the organization's guards. "Who are you?" the guard growled, his hand on the hilt of his sword. Lin Feng smiled, his eyes locked on the guard. "We're just curious civilians," he said. "We were just looking for a tour." The guard's eyes narrowed. "You're not from around here, are you?" Lin Feng's team tensed, ready for a fight. But before things escalated, Lin Feng noticed something strange. The guard seemed hesitant, unsure of what to do. "Wait," Lin Feng said, his voice low and calm. "Let's talk." The guard's eyes flicked to Lin Feng, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Then, the guard nodded, and Lin Feng's team breathed a collective sigh of relief.
