Chapter 2: The Mysterious Realm

Lin Feng's spirit drifted through a void of nothingness, devoid of sensation or thought. It was as if he had ceased to exist, a fleeting moment in the annals of time. But then, a strange sensation began to build, like a spark igniting within him.

"Who are you?" Lin Feng asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

The woman didn't respond, instead reaching out a hand and touching his forehead. Lin Feng felt a surge of energy course through his body, like a river bursting its banks. His vision blurred, and when it cleared, he found himself in a vast, cavernous space filled with ancient artifacts and mysterious relics.

"What is this place?" Lin Feng asked, his voice filled with wonder.

The woman still didn't respond, but a low, melodious voice echoed in his mind. "This is the Realm of the Ancients, a place of rebirth and transformation. You have been chosen to undergo a trial, one that will determine your fate and the fate of the world."

Lin Feng's mind reeled as he tried to comprehend the woman's words. What trial? What fate? He had so many questions, but the woman's gaze seemed to bore into his very soul, and he knew he had no choice but to proceed.

With that, the woman vanished, leaving Lin Feng alone in the vast, cavernous space. He looked around, taking in the ancient artifacts and mysterious relics. A sense of trepidation settled in the pit of his stomach as he realized that his journey was far from over. In fact, it was only just beginning.
