Kate was very nervous as she followed the elegant lady in huge building of Dominic empire.
Kate watched as old lady conversed with receptionist with authority.
"Olivia mam, Asher sir is in the meeting. You might have to wait for few minutes."
Young beautiful redhead told the old lady smiling politely.
"Okay, we can wait." Old lady told plainly
Whose name is Olivia now Kate knew now.
"Mam please take a seat here. Let me guide you." redhead tried to catch Olivia's elbow to guide her.
But Olivia showed her palm and stopped her sternly
"No need. We will wait for him in his office."
Redhead felt embarrassed and returned to her desk.
Kate was surprised by Olivia's change in attitude.
She was very polite to Kate earlier. Here she is rude to the girl who is polite to Olivia. She felt bad for the receptionist. She looked back but quickly averted her gaze forward increased her pace.
She was not sure but she saw receptionist throwing daggers at her.
Kate watched in amazement as lady entered the private elevator holding her hands. Kate saw everyone watching her with curiosity and some with resentment as if trying to guess her relation with the lady of Dominic family.
That made her more nervous. She averted her gaze from them and gazing on the floor.
Olivia pressed her hands softly and whispered
"Do not mind them. They are just curious."
Kate nodded her head giving a small nervous smile to the Lady, who sure didn't judge the people by their clothes.
But employees here could easily see the difference in a designer dress Olivia wore and simple and cheap dress Kate wore.
Kate knew very well they are not just curious. But she didn't say anything and let the lady drag her in a luxurious office as soon as elevator came to stop at twentieth floor.
They had just entered, when a deep voice
spoke from the door.
"Grandma, what are you doing here ?"
