Kate saw her mother coughing hard. She immediately left cooking and went to attend her.
She lifted water to her mother's lips and stroked her back slowly.
"Mother, how will you manage if no one is here to take care of you. I will cut down my own expenses. But I won't go for work away from here." Kate said in concern laced voice.
Helen took few quick breaths to gather enough energy to convince her daughter.
"What expenses will you cut? You haven't got new clothes for years. You wear old clothes given by hina. You eat leftover food after feeding me."
She took Kate's hand in her and said with tear filled eyes.
"Kate I will manage and Hina will check up on me if needed. But you need to find a better job. Working in hina's flower shop is not going to help us. You are just 25. Why are you killing all your wishes and desires just for me."
"Mother my only desire is to see your health getting better" Kate said squeezing her hands softly.
"But for that I need treatment Kate. And for treatment we need money. You taking care of me is not going to cure me. If you want me getting better, go find some better job."
Helen said her voice marely a whisper.
Kate couldn't reason her mother further. She knew she was right. She sighed in defeat, then noded "Okay, but promise me no matter what you would call me immediately if you felt something wrong with you"
Helen smiled weakly "Okay "
Kate is a golden complexioned short girl marely 5'3". She has a very beautiful innocent face. Big doe eyes, small pointy nose, pouty lips and a sexy body. Her wide hips narrows to a small waist and further big bust gives her a perfect hourglass figure.
But all that she hides purposely in hina's baggy clothes to not gather attention of drunk men living in that area. This was a very shabby place of the town with all the lowly people living here.
