Looking across the table, I watched as Darla took her seat, choosing the one right across from Carter. Her eyes peered towards him intently as the realization that I had a wolf now seemed to be setting in. She clearly wasn’t too happy about that. Which seemed to make Lena even more thrilled.
‘Oh Goddess, just imagine the look on her face when she finds out you have a silver wolf.’ Lena gushed, her excitement growing by the second.
‘That’s what we’re trying to stop from happening.’ I muttered, reminding Lena that we were supposed to be laying low at the moment.
