Brooklyn “Watch your step.” Carter warned, gripping my hand tightly as he helped guide me over a curb. I couldn’t see a thing with how dark it was. How was Carter not running into everything right now? I’m not sure where he was taking me exactly but being out here in the middle of the night was scary as hell.
