There are still a couple of
hours before my class, so I head back to my room and lay in my bed.
I can’t wrap my head around Ev’s reaction, but it certainly
explains why she had been acting weird before. Fe must have told
her about the kiss. Why would she do that?
With my head a complete
jumble I know that I’m not going to be able to get back to sleep
before class, so I decide to look at all the monitors in my room.
Everything seems pretty normal. Drones are patrolling the compound;
scientists are going about their business.
I’m about to roll back over
when I spot 80 on one of the monitors. He’s standing just to the
bottom right edge of the frame. A couple of seconds later Brianna
