JACK AND CHRIS

My alarm went off at 5:45 in the morning,and every morning I hated it.If only I could just fall asleep and not wake up.

I reached blindly across the small bedside table, and knocked my phone to the floor. I picked it up and looked at it, an old,bad speaker, a cracked screen, and the colour is piling off.

I sighed, took it and turn it on.

No notifications, no missed calls

just a single message from Chris saying:

" Bro, don't forget about the welcome party later today at club Nova🎇🎇"

How can I forget, it's the only thing anyone could say for the past week.... I dropped the phone back on the table and went to the bathroom.

I took my toothbrush and scrubbed my teeth like my life depended on it. when I was done, I went downstairs and met my mom in the kitchen preparing breakfast.

" Good morning mom" I greeted and walked pass her to the fridge.

"How was your night honey" she asked with a smile on her face.

" it was ok " I replied, as I went back to sit on the dinning table after taking water from the fridge.

Mom finished what she was doing and joined me on the dinning table with food.

she asked about my plans today, and if I'll be home late.

I replied with a light nod saying

'' I've got plans later today with some friends, so I might be home late"

she smiled at me and picked up her plate as she walked to the kitchen

" I am late for work, bye honey , enjoy your night out"

she left.....

I finished eating, did the dishes, got dressed, and went to attend my classes.

IN COLLEGE

I'm a third year mechanical engineering student, same as Chris and I can't wait to be done with school.

I put my ear plugs on as I walked past the lectures lounge.

I received a tap on the back, and when I turned around, it was non other than Chris.

I rolled my eyes.

" hey men, you got here early as always, don't you have things to do at home?"

I ignored him and kept walking

he spoke again " why are you so cold to me? if I haven't known you for a long time, I would have taught you hated me" he smirked.

" well I do hate you " I said, in a joking tone.

we both laughed as we entered the hall.

Chris and I have been friends since middle school, we went to the same high school, and enrolled in the same University .

our parents work together at a marketing firm.

And now we're studying the same course in college.

He's my best friend, even if I'll never say that to his face, but he's a good guy and he gets me so well.

But he still doesn't know that I'm a recessive Omega, he still thinks I'm a beta.

He's a dominant alpha

I'll try to make out time so I can tell him, after all, I've been inlove with him since middle school.

He's not just my best friend, but also my first and true love.

still can't tell him that though, but I promise to tell him during the summer break!
