Falkor and Aiden crossed the gardens and entered the courtyard of the main Palace. They passed through a small doorway, the guards allowing them through without question. They hurried along the empty hallways, lamplight flickering as they went by. Aiden had not been back in the main Palace since his first meeting with the King and although the corridors seemed familiar, he did not think he had been in this place before. Suddenly Falkor stopped and Aiden walked right into the back of him, glad that there was no one else around. “Good, you’re still here,” said Falkor.
