I might have screamed from how quickly I collided into his broad chest. Raine looks different as I stare up at him, and I wildly wonder how badly I hurt him by the bracelet. He's dangerously pale, and there are deep circles under his eyes. His black hair is wild and hangs in his face like some wicked vampire king here to take my soul.
"Raine," I breathe.
