Diamonds Over Gold - Episode 1 Zara Bello knew how to smile for the camera, recite proper greetings, and hold her tongue in family meetings. But what she hated was being told what to do, especially when it came to her heart. He made her feel like more than a rich man’s daughter. When he asked for a “little loan”—just a hundred thousand naira for a business deal—her heart skipped, but she nodded. That’s what lovers did, right? She came home to find her grandmother waiting, arms folded. “You think you’re the first girl to be fooled by pretty lies?” Zara rolled her eyes. But part of her started to wonder. Was Grandma right?
