CHAPTER 7Imprisoned Again!
For the second time since I had arrived upon the planet Ares I awoke with a large bump on my head accompanied by a dull throbbing in my brain from a sudden blow to the head. I opened my eyes and found myself in utter darkness, chained to a wall in what appeared to be some moldy and dank prison cell. I wondered just where I might be. The place stunk with the stench of mildew and decay, and lingering death.
I discovered that I was secured in such a way as to allow me some movement within the cell, so that soon I was on my feet. I examined the area, my hands feeling around in the stygian darkness.
