SCOOTER MCGHIE—Mollie’s husband. Passionate about boats, he dreams about selling everything and sailing around the world.

MRS. MOTO—Mollie and Scooter’s Japanese bobtail cat who has a talent for finding clues.

NANCY AND NED SCHNEIDER—Owners of the Palm Tree Marina.

KATY AND SAM—Nancy and Ned's grandchildren.

PENNY CHADWICK—Runs the local sailing school and boat brokerage.

ALEJANDRA LOPEZ—A young waitress at the Sailor's Corner Cafe.

BEN MORETTI—A wannabe pirate who works at the marina.

CHIEF DALTON AND OFFICER MOORE—Local law enforcement officers.

TIFFANY AND CHAD—Two teenagers who work part-time at Penelope’s Sugar Shack and Melvin’s Marine Emporium.

ALLIGATOR CHUCK—Mollie and Scooter’s neighbor. Owns a local barbecue restaurant.

KEN AND LEILANI CHOI—Young couple living aboard their sailboat in the boatyard. Ken is a marine biologist. Leilani works as a virtual assistant.

NORM AND SUZANNE THOMAS—Norm owns a number of local businesses, including a fishing charter business. Suzanne is a real estate agent.

LIAM THOMAS—Norm’s nephew. Works for his uncle’s fishing charter business.

XANDER CARLTON—Suzanne’s son.

MELVIN ROLLE—Originally from the Bahamas. Owner of the local marine store and a fishing charter business. Mollie and Scooter’s neighbor.
